Stories of ghosts have been told by every people that I have every heard of, often presented as shimmering translucent images of their former selves. As stated an electrical circuit needs that good stable return path to the source. Without it some of the energy is lost as heat which radiates out from the conductor. Is this the essence of the ghost? They are often people who have died badly or unexpectedly of some foul play. In this instance I imagine the person fighting to hold on to their only perception of reality, fighting not to go home if you will. Instead of quick clean transition to the other “plane”, their passage is a chaotic struggle to stay here and so they wind up trapped like static electricity waiting to some how get close enough to the path home to jump to it.
Is this the basis of the "mirrors around the newly dead superstition"? When the life force leaves the dying body the transistion back to the source must be hard, so the prescense of a non grounded strong conductive plate near the dying could possibly cause the life force to gravitate toward it, again much as static electricity will collect in the things around us, becoming trapped there. Place your hand near a mirror in a dry house and you may feel the hair on your hand being drawn toward the mirror, now imagine you are newly released life force struggling to break free of the mortal ties that bind us to our bodies. You finally break free and there is moment of imbalance, of non-guided momentum; a particularly strong pull in any direction could cause you to stray towards it. And once on the mirror, with the confusion swirling about you as you struggle to understand what has happened, your sense of direction is lost and you become trapped in the in between.
Various forms of paranormal activities are believed to have been possible by all people since the dawn of human history. Telekinetic’s, telepathy, you name it they have existed as long as we have been able to form thoughts. It is true that there are more people who are fakes than can actually perform these acts, which tends to make most people doubt that these things are possible. Are the those who actually possess this ability merely outstanding conductor/ receptors of the energy that we are. I know that there are many ways to fake it, studying the minute details of a persons body language and attitude and making educated guesses. it is also a fact that if you word a prediction, or "reading" just right and give it to a hundred people a vast majority will think that it speaks to them. However people like Edgar Cayce, and Noestradamus, etc, had to have some validity to their abilities to so thoroughly withstand the test of time. So all though I believe the true gifts are rarer than hens teeth I believe there are those who have that gift of super conductor./receptor.
Most of humanity at one point or another longs to understand the big picture and their place in it. I feel our place in it is to live as though we owe this world and those who come after us, our best effort to be good people, instead of going about with the arrogant attitude that everything, even our most insignificant whim is owed to us by the simple fact that we are. I think that we have blinded ourselves to the wisdom of the people that we so often feel so very superior to.
Many of the ancient people knew that they were part of a greater whole, they respected the earth and their fellow inhabitants of it. They used what was required for food and clothing, shelter etc. but they took what they needed and left the rest. They used the whole of the animal they killed with reverence and spirituality. They used the land but did not rape it until it no longer can give forth its bounty. In short they sought balance and coexistence, realizing that they were in fact connected to everything.
It is also a fact that from the earliest times, some humans have understood the foundations of our very existence. From the atoms at our core, to the makeup of our universe, the knowledge of, or at least the idea of has been kown or felt to be true. Yet modern man stands on the summits and trumpets our greatness for discovering that which has been known for all of human history.
So it is that I wonder about those great modern thinkers, Da Vinci, Einstein, Tesla, etc, and ponder the possibilities of how they knew what they knew. Why is it that some people seem to have a head start in their intelligence, almost as if they had some pre-programming. Which is when I wonder if a properly prepared mind could, at the time of death, consciously hold on to its life experiences in the whole and carry them through the transistion into a new existence. I think that the task would be nearly impossible for all but the strongest will and intellect but imagine, I repeat, (with choirs of angels singing in my head), imagine if it could be done. To come out the other side with all the understanding and knowledge accumulated in your past life waiting like plump juicy apples to taken and devoured in your new life. To throw the cherry on top, once the feat were accomplished, to repeat it over and over accumulating as you go forth into eternity, the possibility doth truly take my breath away.

The Minstrel
I am Mortoch, Husband of Dianne, Father Of Deebo, Father Of The Dawn, Father in Law of Steve Grandfather to Reice and Ravyn, friend of Samson, Harley, Ozzie, and Lexus.
What follows are the musings of a restless mind that loves to imagine the endless possible answers to the endless amount of questions swirling in my head. Enjoy, or turn away thinking me a fool for that is certainly your right.
I am everyone, I am no one, When the beginning was and when the ending will be, I will be. I seek to see, that the thing maybe seen, to know, that the thing maybe known, to remember, that the thing maybe remembered. As am I, so are you, because I am everyone, I am no one and we are all one.
I believe in nothing absolutely, except possibilites.
I do not required that you believe, only that you do not believe blindly and that you do not disbelieve without thinking. I do not ask you to kneel, pray, nor kill anyone who does not believe. I ask only that you consider possibilities as adventures to be enjoyed and played with.
It is not necessary to answer every question, however never be afraid to ask the questions.
We are all God, as God is merely a compilation of the collective energies of all life combined into the pool that is the source of all life
Beauty is not in the eye of the beholder. It is in the heart, mind, soul and actions of the beheld.
The outer shell fades and degrades, The beauty that is within lasts forever and can only be damaged by the cruelty of the human animal. Look past the outer to judge the inner worthy of the title beautiful.
To often we seek happiness as a destination, "If I get this, (promotion, toy, etc) I will be happy". If we can only realize that it is the journey that must be happy we will soon find we are always at the happiness destination. I know that the saying is easier than the doing but strive to get there everyday anyways.
I seek to know that which is within me.

Primary Fact: All facts are merely what we believe at this given moment in the human epoch. It was believed at one time that the earth was the center of the universe and that it was flat, believing otherwise was a real good way to see the inside of a religious re-education center.
Fact #1: Life in any form is powered by electricity, all muscle activity, brain function, etc. is an action of electricity. If it is alive, it is as a result of electricity.
Fact #2: Electricity is never destroyed, it is used and sent back to its source.
Fact #3: The world is enveloped in bands of magnetic fields visible at times as the northern and southern lights.
Fact #4: Scientists report that these magnetic fields are weakening and in some areas have actually failed.
Fact #5: Magnetism is a product of an electrical action.
Fact #6: After death all electrical activity in the subject quickly ceases.
Fact #7: The human population of the earth is expanding out of control with no real hope of reining it in.
Fact #8: All electromagnetic radiation, including light, radio transmission and electricity, travels at approximately 186,000 miles (300,000 kilometers) per second; more than seven times around the equator in one second. More precisely, the speed is 299,792,458 meters per second in a vacuum.
Fact #9: The definition of mass says that anything which has some gravitational pull on other objects has mass. By that definition, light has mass. This definition of mass is the same as the definition you get if you ask what ’m’ you have to multiply the velocity ’v’ by to get the ’momentum’ of an object. Momentum is a measure of how much stuff is moving which way. When things bump into each other, the total momentum doesn’t change even though it might be traded between the objects. Think of when two balls bounce off each other. Light has momentum, which means we can actually measure the push it gives to objects it runs into. Fact #10: It is estimated that there are 4.2 births per second and 1.7 deaths.
Fact #11: Some estimates put the speed of thought at anywhere from .5 to 100 meters per second. Others site the test of having a dollar bill held by someone between your fingers and when its released you try and catch it before it falls through your fingers as evidence of slower thought travel. However considering that the eyes have to see and register the drop of the bill send the signal to your fingers to clamp shut and that many people can and do perform this, while many people who can’t at first can train themselves to react fast enough, I think it can be said that thought must be faster than most people think, no pun intended.
Fact #12: It has been a supertitious practice for centuries to cover mirrors in the vicinitiy or the recent dead, a practice that still is occasionally done today. Mirrors are usually made of glass with a metal substance, usually silver nitrate which is a very good electrical conducter bonded to the glass.
Noetic Scientists have reportedly recorded a measurable loss in the mass of human bodies shortly after the death of the individual. They also claim to have proven that brain activity. i.e. thoughts etc. have an actual measurable mass.
My theory is as follows. It is not science or religion, just thoughts, questions and feelings. As stated we are electricity defined, every single thing we do in the course of our lives is an action of electricity.
An electrical circuit consists of a source from which the electricity is generated and to which it returns after performing its function. A means of control, be it as simple as a light switch or as complex as programmable logic controller. Next a function, or many, that the electricity will perform before its return to the source. Finally a path by which to return to the source.
We are at our essence an electrical circuit, the source being the electricity that exists or is chemically produced in our bodies, the control being our brain, the nerve paths in our bodies the means to convey the electricity to its functions and back to the source, and the millions of functions that occur in our bodies each day being the meat of the circuit. Is this what is seen as auras or spiritual presences often report to surround us?
When we die, what happens to that electricity that defines us? Is it possible that the magnetic bands that have been observed to envelope the earth are the source of the electricity we call life? Does all life originate and eventually return to the massive electrical action that envelopes our planet? Is the weakening of the magnetic bands a result of the very real fact that we have an uncontrolled population explosion on this planet? Even the strongest electrical source has limitations to its strength. Are we with our ignorant self-absorbed total disregard for the earth and its other inhabitants killing the very source of all life by drawing from it beyond its limits? Because we humans are not the only ones drawing from this source, as previously stated if it lives it is electric. It has been said many times all life is connected and so I think that this is the connection.
Are these visible magnetic bands the face of “god”? Are the god or gods merely a compilation of the electrical force of everything that lives or has ever lived?
We have all experienced deja vu. When our life force leaves our dying bodies are the sum of our lives experiences carried with it and sustained through the transition into another existence? Or is it possible that the deja vu thoughts are memories collected during the transition thought the pool of electricity that is the source of all things? Or do we continue to draw from the pool our entire lives collecting other life experiences on the fly?
Is this the tie that binds all existence together and is the stress of our over population weakening the spirituality of our species to the point that we no longer see the connection of all life that every primitive people that ever left records of themselves understood. Is this responsible for the complete lack of respect we show toward life in general.
